About the item
The 2003 Château Latour is a highly acclaimed Bordeaux produced during one of the hottest, most challenging vintages on record, with only 10,800 cases made—significantly less than usual. Thanks to the estate’s old vines and the moisture-retaining clay subsoil of its Enclos vineyard in Pauillac, Latour was able to craft a wine of remarkable concentration and structure despite the extreme heat. The wine is a blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot, and it has been widely recognized for its power, balance, and longevity, earning perfect scores from top critics. Château Latour’s vineyard, located near the Gironde estuary, benefits from a unique terroir that consistently allows it to produce some of Bordeaux’s most celebrated and enduring wines.
