We only make money if you do.
For each bottle sold, Unicorn charges a $5/bottle commission plus 5% of the hammer price. In the rare instance your item doesn’t sell, we can re-list it or return it to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Please include brand name and any other relevant information such as proof, age statement, batch, etc. These details are typically found on the front and/or back label of the bottle. If you have a list of bottles, you can also upload it directly in the form.
The state auction laws require the managing auctioneer to physically take possession of all and every asset offered for sale via the auction. To get your bottles to Unicorn, you can choose from several options: Schedule a drop-off at our Chicago HQ, arrange for shipment of your bottles, or drop off at one of our authorized locations across the country.

At Unicorn, consignors have the option to set a reserve price, the minimum amount they are willing to accept for an item. If bidding does not meet the reserve, the item remains unsold and can be re-listed or returned. We offer dedicated auctions featuring a mix of reserve and no-reserve bottles, as well as exclusive no-reserve-only auctions. Our spirits & wine experts will help you decide what is best for you during the appraisal process.

We only accept unopened, factory-sealed bottles. Before submitting, please inspect your bottles for any cracked or damaged wax, labels, or packaging. If you're unsure whether your bottle meets our standards, be sure to include a photo so our team of experts can review.

10 minutes before our auctions close you will notice that Extended Bidding kicks in.
During this period, every time a lot receives a bid, the bid timer for that lot resets to 10 mins. Each lot develops its own end time, and everyone has enough time to get their bids in.
