If you've heard the term "pre-fire Heaven Hill" then you know what this bottle is about. Barreled in 1991—a full five years before the massive fire destroyed the entire distillery—this bottle contains 100% original Heaven Hill distillate.
This release consisted of 80 single barrels and yielded right around 1,300 total bottles when it was released in 2012.
Did You Know? All of the older, "elder" bottlings—18yr, 20yr, 21yr, 22yr and 23yr—originally came with Elijah Craig written in cursive instead of block letters on the front label. It's a quick way to identify the bottle by era.
